Be Godly

Jude 1:14-16 KJV And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, [15] To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. [16] These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage.
The Bible testimony of Enoch is that he walked with God. Here Jude gives us insight into part of Enoch’s walk. Enoch’s walk included stand for righteousness and warning others of the judgment of God. We are to follow Enoch’s example. We should be actively walking with God on a daily basis through Bible reading and prayer. But our walk with God ought to also include a stand for righteousness. Our stand can be done with compassion without compromising truth. Our lifestyle should reflect godliness on a daily basis. The world needs to see godliness in our life if they are going to turn to Christ.
