Grace Multiplied

1 Peter 1:1-2 KJV Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, [2] Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
Today, we begin a devotional study of the epistle of 1 Peter. As Peter begins this epistle with a greeting, he also expressed his desire for us. His desire is that grace and peace would be multiplied to us. Grace is God doing for us what we do not deserve. Grace is also God enabling us to live as He dictates in the Word of God. By ourselves, we do not have the ability to live the life we are called to. God’s grace makes it possible for each of us to live the way God wants us to live.
