Jude 1:1-2 KJV Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called: [2] Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
Today, we see the second truth that Jude shares with us about what it means to be saved. We find that we are not only sanctified, but we are preserved in Jesus Christ. We are secure in our salvation for all eternity because our salvation is the work of Christ and not ours. In John 10:27-30, Jesus teaches that we are in His hand and the hand of the Father and no man can ever remove us from His hand. Being preserved in Jesus Christ means that we are eternally secure and kept by Jesus Christ.
